Combine several PDF files into one document

Sending five separate PDFs is rarely convenient. This merger lets you select multiple documents, arrange them in the order you want and download one combined PDF. It is useful for job applications, invoices, scanned notes, property papers and any submission that asks for a single file. The pages keep their original content and dimensions, and the merge happens locally in your browser, so private documents never leave your device.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Drag two or more PDFs into the drop zone, or click Select PDF Files.
  2. Review the list and drag the files into the correct order.
  3. Remove any file you added by mistake before starting.
  4. Click Merge PDFs and wait for the progress bar to finish.
  5. Download the merged PDF and open it once to check the page order and readability.

Common uses for a merged PDF

  • Job applications: combine a resume, cover letter, certificates and portfolio into one attachment.
  • Business records: put invoices, receipts or monthly reports into a single file for accounting.
  • Government submissions: join supporting documents when a portal accepts only one upload.
  • Study material: merge lecture notes, question papers and handwritten scans by subject.

Tips before you merge

Name the source files clearly so the order is easy to confirm. If the final file is too large for an upload form, merge first and then use the Compress PDF tool. Keep a copy of the separate originals in case you need to replace one page later. A merged PDF can mix portrait and landscape pages, but check how it looks in your PDF viewer, especially if you plan to print it. If you need to create a PDF from photos or scans instead, use Images to PDF.

Privacy and browser processing

The files are read and combined in your browser. ImageTool24 does not upload, store or inspect your PDFs, and no account is required. The download is created locally from the documents you selected.

Frequently asked questions

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

There is no fixed count in the interface. Very large files or large batches may be limited by your browser's memory.

Can I change the page order?

Yes. Arrange the file list in the order you want before clicking Merge. The pages inside each PDF keep their original order.

Does merging reduce PDF quality?

No. The pages are copied into a new document rather than re-encoded, so the original page content is preserved.

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. The merge runs locally, and your files stay on your device.
