Combine several photos into one grid collage

A collage is a quick way to show a group of photos in one image. This maker arranges your selected pictures into a grid and gives you control over the number of columns, spacing, outer margin, corner radius, background colour, output width and format. You can create a family memory sheet, a product comparison, a travel recap or a social media post without opening a design application. The images are combined locally in your browser, so personal photos are not uploaded to a server.

How to make a collage

  1. Select multiple images or drag them into the drop zone.
  2. Choose the number of columns. The rows adjust automatically as images are added.
  3. Set the gap between images, the outer margin and any corner rounding.
  4. Pick a background colour and an output width.
  5. Choose JPG, PNG or WebP, then click Download Collage.

Collage ideas

  • Family and travel memories: group a trip or celebration into one shareable image.
  • Product listings: show several angles or colour variants in a single photo.
  • Before-and-after posts: place two or four images side by side for a clear comparison.
  • Mood boards: collect inspiration images into a clean grid.

Tips for a balanced collage

Use photos with a similar orientation and brightness for a more consistent look. A small gap and margin usually look cleaner than a crowded layout, especially on mobile. If the images have different aspect ratios, the collage will fit them into the grid, so check that important parts are not cropped. Choose an output width that matches where you will post the result; a very large canvas is unnecessary for a social update and makes the file heavier. For a transparent background, use PNG. For a single photo that needs a grid cut, use the Image Splitter.

Privacy and local composition

Your images are read and drawn onto a local canvas. ImageTool24 does not receive the photos, and no account is needed. The finished collage is downloaded directly from your browser.

Frequently asked questions

How many photos can I add?

You can add multiple photos and the grid grows as needed. Very large collages are limited by your browser memory.

Can I change the background colour?

Yes. Use the background control to choose a colour that fills the gaps and outer margin.

Will the photos be cropped?

Each photo is fitted into its grid cell. If the aspect ratios differ, some edges may be cropped; review the preview before downloading.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The collage is created locally and your files stay on your device.
