Signature Maker

Draw your signature with the mouse, or type your name in a handwriting font. Download a clean, transparent PNG.

Tip: keep the signature inside the box. Empty space is trimmed automatically before resizing.

Create a clean signature for forms and documents

A scanned signature often has a grey paper background, uneven lighting or too much empty space. This signature maker lets you draw with the mouse or touch screen, or type your name in a handwriting-style font, then export a tidy image. You can choose the ink colour and thickness, undo strokes, set a standard signature size, and download a transparent PNG or a JPG with a white background. The result is useful for application forms, letters, invoices and digital documents that need an image of your signature.

How to make a signature

  1. Choose Draw signature to write with the pointer, or Type signature to use a font.
  2. For drawing, select an ink colour and line thickness, then sign inside the box.
  3. For typing, enter your name, choose a font and set the font size.
  4. Pick an output size such as 6 × 2 cm or 3 × 1 inch, or enter custom dimensions.
  5. Choose PNG for transparency or JPG for a white background, add an optional KB target, then download.

Where a digital signature image is useful

  • Application forms: attach a signature image where a scanned signature is requested.
  • Letters and invoices: add a personal mark to a PDF or document layout.
  • Email and templates: use a small transparent PNG in a signature block.
  • Practice and samples: try a handwriting style before signing a printed document.

Tips for a better signature file

Sign with smooth, deliberate strokes rather than many small corrections. Keep the signature inside the drawing area; empty space is trimmed automatically before resizing. A transparent PNG is the most flexible format because it can sit on white paper or a coloured form without a visible box. If a portal asks for a maximum KB value, set the target and check the downloaded size. Use a black or dark blue ink for official-looking documents, and keep a copy of the original scan or drawing if you may need to edit it later. This tool creates an image, not a legally certified digital signature.

Privacy and local processing

The signature is drawn and exported in your browser. ImageTool24 does not upload or store it, and no account is required. Your signature image is downloaded directly to your device.

Frequently asked questions

Can I create a transparent signature?

Yes. Choose PNG (transparent) as the format. A transparent background makes it easier to place the signature on a form or document.

Can I type my signature instead of drawing it?

Yes. Switch to the type mode, enter your name and select one of the handwriting-style fonts.

What size should a signature image be?

Use the size required by the form. Common choices are 6 × 2 cm or 3 × 1 inch. Custom pixel dimensions are available when needed.

Is my signature uploaded?

No. It is processed locally and stays on your device.
